Come to our next meeting!

Oxford NUJ members at branch AGM, October 2017.

Oxford NUJ members at branch AGM, October 2017.

The Oxford & District Branch meets every month (except August) in Oxford city centre. We address issues relevant to all our members, freelance and staff, in broadcasting, newspapers, book and journal publishing, PR, photography and videojournalism. If you are a member, please come and join our discussions. If you work in the media but have not yet joined the NUJ, you’re welcome to come along and find out more.

At our meetings we process new membership applications, hear reports from different workplaces around Oxfordshire and respond to issues that arise locally or within the NUJ nationally. Some months we combine this with larger speaker meetings or social events.  Why not join us for the next one?

Hi, I’ve just moved to Oxford. Was a member of the London freelance branch. It would be great to meet up with fellow members here. Unfortunately I couldn’t make last night’s meeting but would love to come in future.
